LA’s latest monster club, Vanguard, is a 20,000-square-foot multi-functional stomping ground for night crawling party people of all varieties. Decorated with Hollywood glam, pop Zen motifs, and warehouse rave elements, Vanguard is a mash-up of eclectic styles for the masses. Designed to cater to all whimsical desires, the Vanguard offers everything from fine dining and sponsored art openings to rock shows and drum ‘n bass parties. Equipped to please even the most condescending of audiophiles, the club includes a domineering video system, an SJ Lighting installation with the best Robe and Martin Professional fixtures, and the first Funktion One Resolution 5 sound system on the West Coast. Although Vanguard lives up to its expectations, bigger isn’t always better for everyone.
