Hollywood mainstay Las Palmas was remade as an jetliner themed lounge under the direction of celebrity DJ AM. Sleek, and decidedly ultramodern, LAX makes you feel as if youre luxuriating in a First Class jet cabin decorated with circular, cozy VIP booths, mirrors, and a spherical fish tank behind the bar. Theres even a couple of outdoor patios for when things get too thick. The opening night festivities saw some fireworks on the dance floor between DJ AM and his fiance, Nicole Richie.
